Fast-growing Gulf Hub: developed comprehensive 5-year strategic business plan including definition of business model, vision, missions and values plus also financial modelling of strategic options, and development of measurable targets for implementation.
Infrastructure Fund Seeking to Invest in Airports: advised on investment opportunities in the global airport industry, developed project selection criteria, potential partner analyses and led strategic due diligence for selected acquisition projects.
Ministries of Public Finance and Transport in Western European Country: for a new airport concession/BOT project, advised government agencies on consortium evaluation and selection combined with benchmarking of comparable airports.
High-growth Low-cost Airline Base in Europe: directed a strategic review and executive leadership assessment in preparation for a major capital expansion program.
ACI (Airports Council International) EUROPE and its membership: developed The Policy Outlook for Europe’s Airports "Facing the Challenges of the 21st Century," The Policy Outlook reflects the business transformation which European airports have undergone in recent years, primarily driven by increasing competition and changing attitudes from governments.
Winning Consortium of a Privatised Major South Asian Gateway Airport: developed strategic vision and 5-year business plan along with a detailed road map for implementation.
Regional Airport in Asia: worked with a newly-appointed CEO to perform a strategic management audit of his management team and assess their willingness/capability to operate in an evolving environment and with a new corporate vision.
Major French-based Concession Company Seeking to Develop a Portfolio of Regional Airports: developed an overall market attractiveness strategy along with a market entry strategy, including a potential partner assessment and deal listing.
One of Europe’s Largest Hub Airports: developed a comprehensive analysis of Europe’s ground handling market, regulation, case studies at other airports and new entrants; worked with the airport management and employee committees to identify the implications and develop new strategies to cope with stiff competition from new entrants in the ground handling sector.
Leading Global Ground Handling Company: developed a 5-year strategic plan including new markets (Asia/Pacific), new customer segments and new offerings for new management team.
European-based Construction Management Company: for a company seeking to expand its role in global airport management,proposed a comprehensive market entry growth strategy including external player analysis, internal resource requirements and business plan development.
A Major Gateway Airport in Latin America: assisted the management and government shareholder in the evaluation of potential new sites for development of a new ‘greenfield’ airport; developed traffic forecasts under different hub scenarios and assessed the potential attractiveness to private investors.
